Tetris

The well-known game Tetris is derived from a game called Pentominos, which is not as famous. The term Pentomino is derived from the merging of "pento" and "domino," both Greek terms, indicating a shape composed of 5 squares. The developer, Alexey Pajitnov, came up with a smart concept: "What if Pentominos were created using dominos with only 4 blocks?" Therefore, the concept of Tetraminos (also known as Tetris) was conceived.

  • Tetriminoes, also known as shapes that look like the letters I, J, L, O, S, T, and Z, descend gradually from the top of the screen.
  • As the shapes fall, you can choose to shift them sideways or spin them to discover the best angle and position for the blocks to fit smoothly on your grid.
  • Once you complete a row with blocks, all the blocks in that row will vanish.
  • Your primary objective is to eliminate as many lines as you can prior to the tetrominoes descending rapidly.
  • Achieve the top score and emerge victorious in this game before the blocks accumulate in one column.
